The NJ Coalition to End Domestic Violence provides training and education to member programs, community partners, and the community at large with the goal of creating systems and communities that are better informed on domestic violence and the ways we can work individually and collectively to respond to and prevent domestic violence in NJ.

Online Training

NJCEDV offers a variety of trainings to community partners / allied professionals as well as our member programs. If you are interested in participating in training to build your capacity in working with survivors of domestic violence and connecting them with resources and local services, please click the link below. 

Please note that completion of this lesson does not guarantee placement as an advocate in a program or that you will have “victim-counselor” privilege in your communication with victims.

40 Hour Domestic Violence Training

NJCEDV offers a web-based 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training to our members that allows users to take the training at their own pace and at times that is convenient for them. This training program can be applied to the 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training requirement for victim service advocates.
