Training and Education Opportunities
NJ Men of Courage Network (MOCN)
The mission of the Men of Courage Network is to transform male culture into one which is inclusive of all men’s experiences and challenges notions of masculinity that devalue women and other marginalized groups. Through leadership, mentorship and education with young men and boys we can create a healthy and safe New Jersey
Survivor Centered:
We believe that the validation of experiences and the voices of those who have been harmed are vital to our work.
Healing is a Right not a Privilege:
We believe that all men including those who have caused harm have a right to have safe spaces to heal from their trauma.
Inclusion and Equity
We believe that every man including those who have caused harm have value in helping to end violence in New Jersey.
We are Community
We believe no one voice is more important than the other. Communities working and lifting their voices together will help end violence and create a healthy and safe New Jersey.
Be the Change:
We believe in holding ourselves; that men can no longer stand idly by and watch the perpetration of harm, violence, and abuse. We seek to engage men and boys as allies empowering them to start where they are by speaking out in their circles and taking action.
