This workshop will provide an in-depth overview of how colleges and universities conduct campus climate surveys related to sexual violence and build the capacity necessary to undertake such an assessment at their institution, with topics including; securing leadership buy-in; creating an advisory board; obtaining Institutional Review Board approval; selecting and modifying an appropriate instrument; developing an outreach and recruitment strategy; considering analysis options; developing mechanisms for dissemination; using results to create an action plan; and including student voices. The workshop will take participants through the various stages of this process and will allow time for participants to identify how this information applies to their respective institution. Our identified audience for this workshop includes higher education administrators, director service providers, researchers and faculty/staff responsible for addressing campus climate surveys.
