Abuse Intervention Programs

Abuse Intervention Programs (AIP) refers to treatment modalities aimed at addressing and preventing abusive and controlling behavior among individuals who have caused harm against a current or former intimate partner.

AIPs are designed to provide education, counseling, and support to those who have caused harm, with the goal of breaking the cycle of abuse and control and promoting healthier relationships. By addressing the underlying issues that contribute to abuse, AIP programs work toward fostering accountability, promoting empathy, and ultimately reducing abuse and control in relationships.
