NJ Family Leave Insurance benefits can provide partial wage replacement for survivors who need to take time off to handle issues related to abuse such as, safety planning activities, seeking legal services, attending court dates and meeting other related needs. NJ Family Leave Insurance benefits can also be available to caregivers of survivors.
Unemployment Insurance may be available to survivors who had to leave their employment as a result of the abuse.
