This year, we continue to face an unprecedented situation with the COVID-19 pandemic. During the mandated shelter-in-place, WomenRising continued to provide services to women and families facing crises. Stress from COVID-19, loss of income, and inability to access unemployment, homeschooling, the constant family contact, and fear of illness exacerbate conditions that lead to an emergency. Our services are becoming even more essential.

Our annual Celebration of Service is the most important event of the year. It provides an opportunity for the many friends and colleagues of WomenRising to show support for the organization’s mission of assisting women and families through crisis to self-sufficiency.
